African Infrastructure Partners LLC
An Infrastructure Solutions Company

A sustainable infrastructure, energy solutions provider, project developer and angel investor

Introduction

AIP was founded in Texas in 2011 as a private investment vehicle. Hezekiah Adesola Oyinlola, the founder and principal, sought a vehicle which captured and focused his over three decades of global experience as an executive in Schlumberger including a stint as Global Treasurer and Global Head of Sustainability into a powerhouse sustainable investment provider, initially in emerging countries, particularly in Africa.

AIP’s vision is to be a trusted advisor, partner, and investor in energy services, energy infrastructure, and technology-enabled infrastructure related projects that have a core purpose of improving livelihoods in underserved communities and other developing countries, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa.

African Infrastructure Partners, LLC

Oilfield Services and Energy Infrastructure

Today, AIP partners with global companies in energy and energy services and investors, together helping secure access to African markets and deal flow. We provide market access in countries which require local partners. Many countries are building power plants, including renewable energy configurations, some are aiming at improving their energy consumption through the enhancements of entire energy value chain from upstream to downstream that will help grow the productivity of their economies and improve the livelihoods of their people. AIP can help mobilize investors or organize to participate in these important projects. Our investments have included hybrid solar pilot projects, mini gas to liquids plants from flared gas, gas processing plants for power, traditional upstream oilfield services, drilling contracting, etc. in the vast energy value chain.

For local project promoters, we help source capital, technical partnerships, talent, project management and technology in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Principal Investing and Project Finance

African Infrastructure Partners, LLC

AIP works closely with investors, partners, and project promoters to provide financial intelligence, deal structuring, and project finance in sectors other than energy. We seek projects that combine unique approaches to sustainability, that have major impact on livelihoods of communities, and that have technology- enabled foundations, thereby guaranteeing disruption and superior financial returns.

Early projects included co-founding the first company to commercially deploy TV white spaces for broadband connectivity to underserved rural and remote countries, in Ghana in 2015. Current project areas of interest include affordable housing, sustainable agriculture & agro processing, offgrid & hybrid renewable power, and investments in fintech and financial inclusion

When optimal or required for local regulatory or other efficacy purposes, AIP often structures its investments through its Nigerian registered affiliate, Kezenergy Solutions Limited (www.kezenergy.com). Kezenergy is derived from ‘Keziah”, a short form of Hezekiah!
